Why do I think it’s a good idea to actually like your Interior Designer? No but seriously, designing a space is stressful enough so you might as well have fun with it. When hiring an Interior Designer, you should like them for their personality not just their skillset.

1. You will be trusting them with the most important space – your home. You want to have a genuine and unbreakable trust in the person that is going to be creating these intimate spaces for you and your family. Having this will allow you to trust their input and judgement when it comes to the smaller details.
2. You will be talking with them A LOT! I’m not kidding! When remodeling or building you should expect to be in contact with your interior designer every week and sometimes multiple times a week. Therefore, you want to make sure you enjoy speaking with this person and look forward to hearing from them.
3. The most important thing to remember is – the design process should be FUN. Every designer wants you to be having fun during this process. You know you picked the right designer if you’re actually enjoying the process of building your dream home.
